Me And Her

I live with her,in flesh and blood
A body,one heart that beats,
Yet she's got a mind of her own
Dark sides and separate streets.

She screams from mirrors,torments me,
Makes faces at my life,
Jeers at rules I mean to trace
Bleeds me with abstrused knife.

Her spirits outshine a million sun, yet
She'd rather inflame me!
And catechise my brains insane,with
"What of you will be"?

Ironic,but it numbs my thoughts
For she's wild as wilderness goes
And as she thrives in a twisted maze
I languish in a box of woes!

She oozes in my midnight ink,
And makes her presence felt,
Lives in my flesh and blood, but yet
Cognised the moments she dwelt.

  1. Very Nice!

Each of us, at least all who are conscious of their being, has a raging alter-ego! Call it your subconscious or inner-voice if you will..... Conflicting, shouting, defying, frowing - all the time!

    Good poetic rendition Debosmita!
